Salt Lake City airport granted $6M in federal funding for family-friendly upgrades

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) — The Federal Aviation Administration invested $970 million into making airports more family-friendly, and the Salt Lake City International Airport was among the recipients.

The U.S. Department of Transportation announced the grants on Saturday, saying 133 airports across 45 states were granted funds for family-friendly projects.
