KAYSVILLE, Utah (ABC4) — The Kaysville Police Department and the Davis County Sheriff’s Office are warning that there will be an increase in law enforcement presence in the Kaysville area this weekend due to social media posts that are encouraging kids to participate in dangerous behavior.
According to a social media post, police have been made aware of social media posts circulating that are encouraging juveniles to gather at a local grocery store, bring fireworks inside the store, and then proceed to a nearby park.

Police have reportedly responded to several of these “large gatherings” involving juveniles in the past and are reminding the community that “behavior that creates safety risks, damages property, disrupts businesses, or places others at risk will not be tolerated.”
Law enforcement has said that there will be an increased police presence in the area and that action will be taken if necessary.
“Parents, please know where your children are, who they are with, and what their plans are for this weekend. We’ve recently had several cases that have caused disruption, property damage and safety risks due to these gatherings. A quick conversation can go a long way.,” police said in the post…
