SAN ANTONIO – A family is mourning after the death of 14-year-old old Michael ‘Mikey’ Alvarez at a Southwest Side apartment complex.
Alvarez’s loved ones sharing the teen’s life ended just months before his 15th birthday. Family and friends gathered at the spot where everything changed, holding a balloon release in Mikey’s honor.
