San Antonio restaurants, bars and other food-related businesses have been closing every week this summer, and another restaurant, Guerito’s Tacos, was recently added to that list.
Guerito’s Tacos is months out from the closure of its brick-and-mortar location off Potranco Road, but it appears that the last remaining outpost for the concept has also folded in the time since. After temporarily closing its location at Ingram Park Mall, the taqueria has exited the Westside shopping hub after less than a year.
MySA reached out to Guerito’s Tacos by email to confirm the closure. While the business responded, it did not share any additional details. MySA also contacted Ingram Park Mall prior to receiving confirmation from the eatery, but the mall has not yet responded.
Guerito’s Tacos suddenly shuttered its Potranco Road location, alleging that issues with the landlord resulted in its closure. The business originally began as a food truck that moved into the brick-and-mortar space in 2023 before expanding into Ingram Park Mall.
