After initially breaking up more than 20 years ago, one Texas couple with ties to the San Antonio area is now in the running to become “America’s Favorite Couple.”
Víctor de León and Glenda García-de León, originally of the Rio Grande Valley, have officially advanced to the top of a nationwide competition to win $20,000, a feature spot in Variety and a “Hollywood” dinner with movie stars Jeff Goldblum, Ted Danson and Charlie Day and their spouses.
On Sunday, August 16, the newlyweds who tied the knot in July 2026 made it to the competition’s quarterfinals, highlighting what they say is “proof that God’s timing is better than [their] own” after reconnecting years after first falling in love…
