Live roaches force Smoke Skybar to close, despite owner citing a ‘plumbing issue’

SAN ANTONIO – A popular barbecue joint and bar east of downtown San Antonio shut down over the weekend after Metro Health inspectors discovered a pest problem, according to a health inspection report.

A Metro Health inspector visited Smoke Skybar, which is located on 1100 East Houston Street, Aug. 22. The report listed seven violations that resulted in a score of 86.
