SAN ANTONIO – Drivers on the Northeast Side should plan for major overnight and weekend traffic changes as crews install steel bridge beams as part of the I-35 Northeast Expansion Program.
The Texas Department of Transportation will close the southbound I-35 main lanes from Randolph Road to Fratt Road, along with the southbound I-35 frontage road from Randolph Road to Fratt Road. The closure is scheduled from 9 p.m. Friday, August 28, to 5 a.m. Monday, August 31.
