SAN ANTONIO – Friday night’s storm that hit San Antonio caused a lot of damage on the West Side.
Forceful winds left a trampoline in the trees, ripped off rooftops, and blew down a wooden structure along with countless trees and tree branches. Drivers on West Commerce were forced to veer into the other lane to avoid debris.
Just a few blocks behind the vacant Rodriguez Butcher Supply Building, which had its roof torn off, a massive tree was uprooted by the wind and crushed a car beneath. Neighbors said, thankfully, no one was hurt…
