SAN ANTONIO – A West Side homeowner is beginning cleanup efforts after storms swept through the San Antonio area, leaving widespread damage across the city.
Maria Salazar, who lives near Merida Street and South Zarzamora Street, said multiple trees fell and damaged her home during the storms. She said three people have already come to her home to provide repair estimates.
“The only fortunate part is that we’re safe and we’re here; we are good. My kids were safe. It didn’t hit the vehicles,” Salazar said. “Everything fell, and luckily, it was trying to miss our house, but it nicked us.”…
