SAN ANTONIO – Community Bible Church is mobilizing volunteers for two debris clean-up efforts in San Antonio after recent storms damaged property and left storm debris behind.
The church’s TODAY Response Team is asking people who are available Sunday, Aug. 30, and Monday, Aug. 31, to help at two locations.
The first effort is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 30, at the Salvation Army shelter at 521 W. Elmira, San Antonio, TX 78212. Volunteers are being asked to look for the administrative door, where Major Jeremiah is expected to be onsite directing volunteers. The Salvation Army shelter suffered damage from the storms, and volunteers are needed to help pick up debris and load roll-off dumpsters under the direction of the shelter’s property management team…
