A popular Pueblo, Mexico, fast-casual chain has chosen San Antonio to make its U.S. debut. Fresh Bowl & Co is opening September 18 at 115 N Loop 1604 E #2103 in Stone Oak’s La Arcata Retail Center.
Fresh Bowl was founded more than 15 years ago and currently has four locations in its home country. Javier Menéndez, one of the original owners, brought the concept along with him when relocating to the Alamo City.
Similar to Chipotle and CAVA, the concept offers hundreds of ways to customize grain bowls, salads, or wraps. The bases go well beyond spring mix. Guests can choose their own greens, add grains like quinoa, or even lentils…
