A San Antonio-area business suite that previously housed The Cookshack and The Lion & Rose Pub will soon transition to a new dining concept that puts dumplings at the forefront.
On September 1, a project page filed with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shared details about a concept dubbed “Meet Dumplings,” which is planned to open at 8211 Agora Parkway in Suite 112, a space at The Forum that served as a hot chicken shack not too long ago. The project details page noted that the incoming business will renovate the dining and restroom areas, adding new flooring, wall finishes, light fixtures and more.
The estimated cost to install all of Meet Dumplings’ new interiors is about $70,000, and construction is scheduled to run from October 1, 2026, to July 31, 2027, according to the TDLR filing. However, construction timelines on the project details pages are tentative and subject to change…
