A Friday night storm left its mark across parts of the San Antonio area, with large hail and strong winds damaging cars, homes and fences.
Storms swept through the area late Friday, September 11, bringing heavy rain, lightning and hail to communities on San Antonio’s East Side and beyond. The National Weather Service Austin-San Antonio office received reports of dime- to golf ball-sized hail in the Paloma subdivision, about 4 miles south-southeast of Converse, between 10:05 and 10:15 p.m.
