Italian eatery Sorrento Ristorante & Pizzeria is vacating its longtime Alamo Heights home for new digs on Northwest Military Highway, according to an online post from its owners.
In a Saturday Facebook post, Sorrento’s ownership thanked Alamo Heights customers and said the restaurant will relocate to 2311 Northwest Military sometime in October. The new spot is near Thirsty Horse Dance Hall & Saloon and the satellite location of Mr. Juicy.
“For every celebration, every quiet weeknight dinner, every “The usual, please,” and every face we’ve come to know and love over the years, we are endlessly grateful,” the message said. “This community gave Sorrento a home, and that means more to us than we can put into words.”…
