As major changes continue to sweep through the TV news industry, two popular San Antonio news outlets have laid off multiple staff members.
News 4 WOAI and KABB Fox News 29, sister stations owned by American media company Sinclair Broadcast Group, notified staff members of the layoffs Wednesday.
“WOAI and KABB are committed to positioning the stations for long-term sustainability,” a Sinclair spokesperson told the Express-News. “We have made the difficult decision to eliminate a small number of positions in our content center.”…
