A busy San Antonio roadway is the subject of recent controversy after some drivers noticed a partial gap in the bridge. Some residents are expressing fears about traveling over it, and several are recommending that it be reported to state officials.
Resident Courtney Renee was stopped on the ramp from Loop 1604 to enter northbound I-35 on Thursday, September 10, at around 2 p.m., when they noticed a crack in the concrete above them. They shared the sighting in a TikTok video, and it quickly went viral. The crack doesn’t appear large, though it’s noticeable enough that cars can be seen passing through it.
