An 18-wheeler crash on one of the busiest highways in the San Antonio area has all but brought traffic to a standstill on Saturday evening, September 19.
The crash occurred at U.S. 281 southbound at Stone Oak Parkway just after 2:40 p.m. on Saturday. TxDOT traffic cameras show traffic is now limited to one lane on the highway as the access roads remain backed up.
The San Antonio Police Department sent out an alert at 2:46 p.m. saying all southbound traffic is being diverted off the highway to TPC Parkway and that drivers should expect delays for the next few hours. Any drivers heading in that direction are encouraged to find alternative routes…
