SAN ANTONIO — A 17-year-old boy was hospitalized Wednesday afternoon after he was shot while walking home near a Roosevelt Avenue apartment complex, San Antonio police said.
The shooting was reported shortly before 3 p.m. near East Southcross Boulevard and Padre Drive.
Police said the teen was walking on VFW Road when he heard gunshots and then felt pain in his left forearm. He ran home to the apartment complex, where officers arrived and applied a tourniquet to his arm…
