SAN ANTONIO — A Bexar County jury found Wilmer Vladimir Ortega Ruiz guilty Friday in the May 2025 shooting of former Marine and security guard Jimmy Friesenhahn.
Prosecutors said Friesenhahn found a gun on Ruiz during a pat-down at El Patio Sports Bar. A struggle followed, and Friesenhahn was shot three times, leaving him paralyzed.
