SAN ANTONIO – A local Air Force contractor is facing federal charges after authorities say he mishandled a classified document and brought multiple loaded firearms onto Joint Base San Antonio.
Zachry Wade Carroll, 47, of San Antonio, was arrested in Comal County on Saturday, according to a U.S. Department of Justice press release issued Monday, Nov. 2, 2026. U.S. Attorney Justin R. Simmons for the Western District of Texas announced the arrest.
