SAN ANTONIO – AugustHeart is San Antonio’s free heart screening program offered to area teens. In an effort to reduce the incidence of sudden cardiac death in youth, nonprofit AugustHeart provides free heart screenings for teens. Monitoring the heart health of teenagers in our community provides an opportunity to save lives. Over 73,000 teens have been screened since 2011 and 370 lives saved.
