Man arrested for attempting to run over police officers during traffic stop

The officials have arrested a man in San Antonio for trying to run over Police Officers during a traffic stop.

This incident took place on 25th January, a little later than 8 pm. This happened near Benrus Drive, which is on the northwest side of Grovehill Drive.

Police stated that they were called by a lady who said that her car was being taken by someone without her name. After arrests, this man was found to be Alejandro Garzo, 41 years old.

When the officers reached the scene, Garza was already seated in the woman’s vehicle. Even after being persuaded to leave the vehicle, Garzo refused to leave the vehicle or vacate it. On being asked more, he drove off the vehicle instead.

After following Garza for a short time, the police were able to get Garza to pull over somehow. He refused to vacate the vehicle or cooperate calmly with the police. Garza wouldn’t even put the car in park.

When the police officers tried to pull Garza out of the car forcefully while holding the side of the vehicle, he stepped on the gas and almost ran over the officials.
