McDonald’s brings new restaurant concept to Texas

DALLAS (KDAF) — As previously reported , McDonald’s opened its first CosMc’s in Bolingbrook, Illinois last year with promises that it would be expanding to other parts of the nation.

If you haven’t heard, CosMc’s is inspired by a six-armed half-robot, half-surfer, half-alien McDonald’s character named CosMc. The 80s character is known for his love of McDonald’s burgers and food.

It has now been announced that the first CosMc’s Texas location will be in San Antonio. This is part of the company’s goal to open 10 CosMc’s this year, according to last year’s investor conference featuring the franchise.

The restaurant also plans to open nearly 10,000 McDonald’s restaurants worldwide over four years.

It will be interesting to see how the new spinoff does in Texas. Check out some of the food below!
