SAN ANTONIO, Texas ( ValleyCentral ) — Authorities arrested a teenage capital murder suspect at a high school after his alleged accomplice died by suicide.
Joshua Castro,18, is facing a charge of capital murder in connection to a December 2023 double homicide, according to San Antonio police.
On Dec. 6, 2023, officers responded to a Circle K gas station at the 9000 block of Potranco Road in reference to a shooting. There, one person was found dead with gunshot wounds outside of a vehicle. A second person died from their injuries at a hospital.

On Feb. 5, U.S. Marshals were at the 10000 block of Cat Mountain watching for movement of a suspect, identified as Sebastian Toledo. Toledo had an active warrant for capital murder.
Authorities saw Toledo exit the home to pick up a package that was delivered to the front door. Federal agents then knocked and made entry, and as they entered, they heard a gunshot.
A drone was sent inside the home and Toledo was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound, police said.
