Yet again, another white man has been convicted of horrifically killing a Black man and is now blaming his victim for his actions. Last week, Christopher Lee Powell, a 36-year-old white man, was convicted and sentenced to 40 years in prison after he fatally shot Ibrahim Malik Suárez, a Black man, in Converse, Texas in April 2021, according to the San Antonio Express-News.
