She was named Phoenix by her rescuers and like a Phoenix, she is rising through the ashes as she heals from treatments at a San Antonio animal hospital. It was on Feb. 7, Phoenix found her way onto a Nixon woman’s front porch, crying in pain for help after someone set her on fire.
