SAN ANTONIO – Storms capable of heavy rainfall, hail, and damaging winds are anticipated to move into South Texas overnight and linger through midday Sunday. Overnight, the greatest risk will be across the Texas Hill Country where a Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect until 2 am. An extension of the watch may be needed into San Antonio by the early morning hours. Regardless of any watches, the threat of heavy storms will move into San Antonio by the early morning, and the threat of storms will continue through midday.
