SAN ANTONIO – The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said an inmate died Sunday night after suffering an apparent medical episode. BCSO said a male inmate was found unresponsive in his cell during a routine observation check. Deputies immediately responded, performing life-saving measures but the inmate succumbed to his medical episode and was pronounced dead by first responders.
