In an effort to increase voter turnout, rideshare giants Uber and Lyft are offering hefty discounts on rides to polling places this Election Day. As reported by CBS Austin, both companies have announced that they will provide a 50% discount on rides, up to $10, to help voters perform their civic duty. Additionally, Uber aims to keep its customers fed on election night with 25% off Uber Eats orders, starting at 6 p.m.
