SAN ANTONIO – An election official at an early voting location on the southwest side was assaulted Thursday night, Bexar County elections officials say. “This is a press conference I was hoping we would not have to have. We had an incident at a poll site last night where one of our election officials was assaulted,” Bexar County Elections Administrator Jacquelyn Callanen said Friday morning.
