Chick-fil-A is expanding on San Antonio Southside
A new filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows that a new Chick-fil-A location is headed to Southwest Military Drive near the South Flores Street intersection. The restaurant will be a new build, with construction expected to begin this year on May 5 with a projected completion date of October 9.

Mark’s Outing adds drive-thru to brick-and-mortar location
The popular burger joint has opened its brand new drive-thru, which will be available for dinner and late-night service. The drive-thru will be open 6-10 p.m. from Monday through Saturday and 7 p.m. to midnight Thursday through Saturday, according to a Facebook post .
