A South Texas judge and the head of some San Antonio-area companies have been indicted in a cattle theft case by a Kenedy County grand jury.
Kenedy County Justice of the Peace Jerry William Miller and businessman Frank Thomas “Tom” Shumate Jr. , who heads a Marion-based company that allegedly had its corporate records burned and buried , are each charged with stealing cattle with a total of value of less than $150,000.
