Local restaurants face closures as inflation spikes food and rent costs

San Antonio, TX — High food prices are taking a toll on local restaurants. Two local restaurant owners say they’re struggling due to high inflation.

At Mad Pecker Brewing Company, it’s a bittersweet weekend as they celebrate their 10-year anniversary and their going out of business celebration. The owner Jason Gonzales says their last day open is Mar. 31.
