BCSO: Deputy hospitalized after aggressive dog gets loose on far west side

BEXAR COUNTY, Texas — The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office said a deputy was attacked by a loose dog while responding to a scene on the far west side Sunday afternoon.

BCSO said deputies responded to a loose dogs call on the 13000 block of Elm Forrest Drive and made contact with the owner of the dogs.

That’s when officials said one of the aggressive dogs ran through the open gate towards a deputy who fell to the ground. The deputy was bitten on the lower extremities of his legs multiple times, according to BCSO…
