The halls outside the 290th state District Court in Bexar County, where the two parents accused of hiding the bodies of Savanah Soto and her boyfriend Matthew Guerra were set to face trial, was lined with folks waiting to see the outcome of the charges. It appeared family members on both sides of the case were visibly upset with an officer of the court who emerged from the courtroom, visibly frustrated, and announced there would be no trial Monday, March 31, or the following day.
The jury trial weighing the guilt or innocence of Mytra Romanos and Ramon Preciado in their alleged involvement in the murder and subsequent cover up had been on the books for over a month. Now, the trial has been postponed, but online court records have not been updated, the court coordinator nor the Bexar County District Attorney’s Office were readily available for comment to explain what happened…
