SAN ANTONIO — San Antonio police say some unruly partygoers got into a fight with security at a quinceañera event Saturday night, causing chaos at the celebration.
It happened just after 11 p.m. at the Villa Coronado party venue in the 9900 block of Roosevelt Avenue on the south side of town. According to police officials, the security guard pulled out his weapon when the fight escalated.
It’s still unclear if any shots were fired as the crowd dispersed. But officers at the scene said a 34-year-old man showed up to the Baptist Hospital at South Zarzamora and Interstate 35 shortly after, claiming he’d been shot at the venue. Police say he was actually hit by shrapnel…
