San Antonio Woman’s Body Identified

The body found in Woodlawn Lake was identified as 61-year-old Delilah Jimenez, a homeless woman who was staying in the area. A jogger reported seeing the body up along the water’s edge at 1100 Cincinnati Ave, and police found no signs of physical trauma.

The woman’s friend, Bobby Shaner who is also homeless, told authorities that many people in the homeless community around the area make temporary shelters inside of storms drains. This was the case with Delilah Jimenez before heavy rainfall filled the drain, sweeping her out of the shelter along with her belongings.
