Peter Piper Pizza nears grand opening in rapidly growing San Antonio hub

Nearly one year ago, a state filing revealed that Peter Piper Pizza was preparing to open a new location in San Antonio’s far Westside. As the project continues to inch towards its completion date, construction on the arcade spot appears to have made significant progress this month.

When the initial Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR) filing was submitted, an address for the popular food chain was not made public. In its latest update, the report places the restaurant at 931 SH 211 , near the Potranco Road and Highway 211 intersection.

A MySA reader’s photos show that the building process is steadily advancing , with Peter Piper Pizza’s signature colors taking shape and a large promotional billboard being loaded onto the property. A“Now Hiring” sign with a QR code to apply has also gone up, implying that the location could open just in time for local residents to land a summer job.

The project marks the chain’s ninth in San Antonio and its farthest westside location. It’s set to open in an area that’s been skyrocketing in growth—both residential and retail-wise. Nearly seven miles north towards Culebra Road, a $29 million H-E-B is also being built . The food chain’s easy 25-minute route to residents in nearby towns like Castroville and Lacoste also could help it see a successful turnout in 2025…
