Three months after a San Antonio jury socked Bill Miller Bar-B-Q with a $2.8 million verdict in the case of a customer who suffered second-degree burns from spilling hot barbecue sauce on her thigh, the restaurant chain has been hit with a new lawsuit over an allegedly similar incident.
San Antonio resident Angelica Ochoa this week sued Bill Miller Bar-B-Q Enterprises Ltd. for negligence over second-degree burns she says she sustained after spilling barbecue sauce on her leg. She is seeking more than $1 million in damages.
