A San Antonio woman, Gisselle Cabrera Rodriguez, aged 25, has received a federal prison sentence of 50 months for her role in a cocaine trafficking scheme. Court records reveal that Rodriguez was apprehended by Bexar County Sheriff’s Office deputies on February 6, 2024, after she committed several traffic violations. The stop led to a vehicle search, uncovering 1.2 kgs of cocaine in the front passenger area. Furthermore, officers seized two cell phones from the scene.
Following her arrest, federal authorities executed a search warrant at Rodriguez’s home, where they discovered an additional 2.3 kgs of cocaine and cash totaling $45,700, assumed to be proceeds from her drug trafficking operations. Rodriguez later admitted to having trafficked at least five kgs of cocaine every week for about five to six months prior to her capture.
