A new restaurant serving up Chinese specialties is celebrating its soft opening this week on San Antonio’s Northside. MySA spoke with the business to learn more about its budding concept.
Duck & Dumpling is now open on Thousand Oaks Drive, joining a growing neighborhood of Asian eateries, such as Dashi Chinese Kitchen + Bar, Full House Chinese Restaurant, Thai Chili and Izumi Sushi & Hibachi. A rep for the new restaurant dished to MySA about what customers can expect.
“Duck & Dumpling is a new joint brand created by two well-known restaurant groups, Bamboo House and Dumpling World. Our signature dishes include roast duck, soup dumplings, and pan-fried soup buns,” the rep said in an email. “We hold our food to the highest standards and are committed to bringing a great dining experience to food lovers in San Antonio.”
Bamboo House has locations in Humble, Austin and the Dallas-Fort Worth area, while Dumpling World has locations in Sugar Land, Houston and Austin. The two restaurant brands have teamed up to launch Duck & Dumpling in San Antonio…
