Two budget-friendly retail brands are set to open stores in San Antonio this year, bringing major savings to one of the largest luxury shopping centers in Texas. The openings follow three new lease agreements secured by Big V Property Group in 2024, bringing its total retail space owned statewide to more than 74,500 square feet.
Big V Property Group announced in a news release on Monday, May 12, that Marshalls and Sierra (also known as Sierra Trading Post) will open at The Rim Shopping Center in the third quarter of 2025. While an exact opening date has not been confirmed, current information indicates the stores will open its doors sometime between July and September. MySA has reached out for more details.
The New York-based investor sealed the deal with TJX Companies Inc. (TJX), a multinational off-price retail corporation based out of Massachusetts. Aside from Marshalls and Sierra, TJX also owns businesses such as Home Goods, TJ Maxx and Homesense.
