A San Antonio woman died days after an incident involving a toppled fiber optic line sent her to the hospital with serious injuries.
Glenda Huff Roth, 64, died Thursday, almost two weeks after she was injured by a collapsed fiber optic line while doing yard work at her Northeast Side home.
The incident happened around 11 a.m. May 2 on Oak Ledge Drive. A dump truck passing by Roth’s house hit a tree branch, causing the fallen limb to knock down a fiber optic line, striking Roth, according to a report from KENS 5. Police said the line belonged to AT&T…
