Judge decides whether to make San Antonio lawyer write 10-page paper

A San Antonio lawyer who landed in a bankruptcy judge’s crosshairs for not following court rules won’t be sanctioned by having to write a 10-page paper — but he didn’t get off scot free.

Attorney Edward “Eddie” Bravenec has to write a paper on four court rules, as well as on U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Michael Parker’s “personal procedures” for electronically filing documents with his court.

“It doesn’t have to be 10 pages, but I would like you to draft something to address those rules,” Parker told Bravenec during a Tuesday hearing…
