A man has been arrested in connection with an armed robbery at an H-E-B store on the city’s West Side. Jose Luis Madrid, 45, is charged with aggravated robbery, a first-degree felony punishable by 5 to 99 years in prison or life, and a fine of up to $10,000. He was also charged with illegal entry from a foreign nation, court records show.
The San Antonio Police Department arrested Madrid on May 15. He is being held at the Bexar County jail on a $75,000 bond.
