Deputies find drugs and guns after hallucinating caller reports home break-in

SAN ANTONIO – A call about a possible home burglary ended with two arrests and the seizure of a significant stash of drugs and firearms after deputies discovered the caller was under the influence and hallucinating.

On Friday, deputies responded to a suspicious activity report in the 3000 block of Canyon Maple. The person told deputies he believed someone had broken into his home and might still be inside. Deputies instructed him to remain outside while they conducted a protective sweep of the house.

As they moved through the house to check for intruders, deputies found no burglars, only a large amount of drugs and firearms scattered throughout the home…
