‘Miracle update’: Texas mom and 5 kids no longer living in broken-down car

An East Texas woman and her six children, who fled domestic violence and had been living in a broken-down car in San Antonio, now have a repaired vehicle — and a place to call home.

Their story, first shared by Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM), was published online by the San Antonio Express-News on June 26. By the next day, a separate nonprofit, SAMMinistries, had stepped up to secure a home for the family.
