San Antonio man arrested after delivery driver alerts police to severely malnourished dogs

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Five dogs were rescued from a home in Bexar County after a delivery driver reported suspected abuse, prompting an investigation by local authorities.

The Bexar County Sheriff’s Office, in collaboration with Bexar County Animal Control and the Animal Crimes Enforcement Unit, executed an animal seizure warrant at the residence.

The investigation began on June 25, 2025, when the delivery driver expressed concerns about the condition of several dogs at the location.
