UTSA center can run your question through a survey — for $500

Do you have a burning question or want to gauge community support for a project or idea?

The University of Texas at San Antonio is offering to help — for a fee to cover costs. The 2-year-old UTSA Center for Public Opinion Research is inviting researchers and organizations to add questions to its new Bexar County Omnibus Survey, based on feedback from up to 3,000 local adult residents.

Bryan Gervais, center director, said it’s the first time the research team has engaged the public. Purchased space on the survey is $500 per question, with a discounted rate of $250 for UTSA researchers. One “free question spot” will be given to a UTSA graduate students, based on its “quality and importance.” The center has created an online form to submit questions to be posed in English and Spanish…
