In a move that has been reverberating through city hall, Carroll’s more than three decades’ worth of leadership experience is expected to amplify the mayor’s agenda. According to a statement from Mayor Jones, “Dr. Carroll brings a wealth of executive leadership experience, both in and out of uniform, and I know she will well serve San Antonio as my Chief of Staff.” Having served as a member of the Senior Executive Service with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, Carroll’s previous role involved overseeing strategic personnel management initiatives, as stated by the City of San Antonio.
